Join the Curtin Theatrical Society!
Love theatre, performing, or working behind the scenes? Curtin Theatrical Society is the place for you! We bring students together to create exciting productions, learn new skills, and build lasting friendships. Whether you're an experienced performer, an aspiring director, a tech enthusiast, or completely new to theatre, everyone is welcome.
We produce two full-length major shows each year with established directors and run bi-weekly workshops throughout each semester, covering everything you need to know to create a performance, film a self-tape, write a script, and so much more. Join us to perform, create, collaborate, and have fun!

Get Involved
Want to do more than attend workshops? Join the team that makes them happen!
Each year, we elect a new committee at our Annual General Meeting (AGM), and every Ordinary Member who has been with us for at least three months are welcome to nominate themselves. Committee members help organise productions, workshops, social events, and the overall direction of the society.
Why join the committee?
* Develop Leadership Skills: Gain valuable experience managing projects, events, and teams.
* Build Your Resume: Stand out with practical leadership and organisational experience.
* Make a Difference: Help create memorable theatre experiences for the Curtin community.
* Meet New People: Work alongside passionate, creative students and expand your network.
If a committee position becomes vacant during the year, Ordinary Members will be invited to nominate in accordance with our constitution.
Who can apply?
Anyone who has been an ordinary member with the Curtin Theatrical Society for at least three months can nominate for committee positions - so long as they are an enrolled Curtin student. Simply become a member, keep an eye on your emails for nominations (which will be advertised one month in advance) and put yourself forward when opportunities arise. Committee elections are held at our General Meetings, where student members vote for the next team.
